  • Henno Mentz also bloody fortunate to get a ticket to Aus-Nz IMO. All in the name of “depth” though…

Shame for Deysel, pity that someone like Skipper has to go ahead of him as cover for a sepcialist position.

And “the million dollar man” remains in Durbs

Agree that this is very tough on Deysel. Not sure why we need 3 hookers!

all i am saying is with carstens back and beast and jannie cover loosehead

so why not train beast to cover hooker as a 3rd choice ??

  • Suppose not. Nice squad – think we are going to kick some serious butt!

Have a good evening Rob – going to take Tiger to her dance lesson – they are never too old to ask you drive them around. Just when you think they are independent you get this “mom, don’t suppose you feel like going to Fourways with me? It is raining.” And, of course, that face. Can’t say no.

  • yip LD, Dick and PLumtree have assembled quite a squad.

talk of converting a prop to a backup hooker, should not be too much problem for BJ since i think thats where he started out. anyone confirm?

  • correct – BJ played hooker at under 20… I can only assume that’s what he played at school as well.

Beast would also make a fine hooker, IMO

  • Botes and Barritt are officially the guys with the highest tackle count so far, but I reckon in terms of sheer impact, Beastie has to be the most lethal defender in the team.

And hell, how could he throw worse than Skipper?
