Eddie to the rescue

Seems Eddie Jones is rolling into Loftus next week to try and pick up the pieces. Let’s hope he’s brought his big shoes, squirty buttonhole flower and red nose, lest he not fit in.

Frans Ludeke’s so-called “Champions” find themselves in 12th spot on the log, having amassed a miraculous 2 log point on their four-match tour of the Anitpodes. This afternoon’s last gasp loss to the Force meant that for the first time since 2002, the Bulls have failed to register even a single victory on their Antipodean tour. Last year, they became the first SA ever to win three on the road. This year, they will become the first ever team to go from Champions to last within a single year.

Bet you Jones is glad he stuck with Saracens while the Bulls were waving the assistant coach carrot under his nose. Let’s hope he’s going to get a few frequent flyer miles for coming over, because I really fail to see what other benefit there could be to him spending any time with the Bulls squad now.

  • Saracens have also lost more than they’ve won since Eddie came on board… after starting the season with a bang!

Thought it was worth a mention…
