The Sharks have named their line-up to take on the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday and the good news is that Keegan Daniel has been passed fit to start at open-side flank.
The side sees two changes to the starting fifteen that played against the Highlanders last week; Rory Kockott will start at scrumhalf ahead of Ruan Pienaar, while JP Pietersen replaces the unfortunate Waylon Murray at left wing. Bradley Barritt and Frans Steyn will again be the centre combination outside of Fred Michalak, while Odwa Ndungane and Stefan Terblanche remain at 14 and 15 respectively.
An injury cloud over tighthead prop Jannie du Plessis means BJ Botha starts for a second week running, in an unchanged pack that includes Bismarck du Plessis, Beast Mtawarira, Johann Muller, Steven Sykes, Daniel, Jacques Botes and Ryan Kankowski. The elder du Plessis has been named on the bench, but is bracketed with Deon Carstens as the front row replacement. In an unusual move for the Sharks, there are only four forwards on the bench, with all three of Pienaar, Murray and Adrian Jacobs named as backline reserves.
15 Terblanche, 14 Ndungane, 13 Steyn, 12 Barritt, 11 Pietersen, 10 Michalak, 9 Kockott, 8 Kankowski, 7 Botes, 6 Daniel, 5 Muller (capt), 4 Sykes, 3 Botha, 2 B du Plessis, 1 Mtawarira
16 Burden, 17 J du Plessis/Carstens, 18 van den Berg, 19 Venter, 20 Pienaar, 21 Murray, 22 Jacobs
