  • First sign on inconsistancy from Goddard there.

Early in the game he didn’t let us get additional advantage from their backline being offside and called us back for a FK.

Now he allows them to have the advantage and “choose” where to kick from.

Either way he is still having a good game.

  • If Botha isn’t off for a blood bin then Pdv is plain thick.

Bekker should replace Matfield NOT Botha. Botha is grafting his arse off and matfield is reading the leadership manual instead of playing rugby.

  • Just watched the last portion of the game again, and in a more relaxed and non emotional state I was able to notice a lot more. One of the most impressive factors was the work rate of the Boks wings, both Habana and JP put in huge number of tackles and JP even cleaned out at a couple of rucks.

Also, all the replacements made vital contributions. Ruan, a great break and one important tackle and Steyn’s tackle on Woodcock was awesome. Number 46 even made 3 or 4 good tackles towards the end and Jantjes also contributed!
