Vodacom WP centre Gcobani Bobo has been ruled out of the remainder of the Absa Currie Cup with a shoulder injury.
the Official WP website reports that the injury is a chronic left shoulder injury, resulting in chronic pain, impaired conditioning and playing ability over the last year.
Bobo has been carrying the injury for some time and went to see a specialist on Monday.
At the specialist’s advice and opinion, corrective surgery will be done on the shoulder later this week. This will require a recovery and rehabilitation time of approximately 16 weeks, thus preparing him for the Vodacom Super 14 and being close to match readiness in mid January, in time for the competition.Tweet
