Boland Cavaliers coach Deon Davids has made minimal changes in tweaking his side for their clash against Western Province at Boland Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.
Rugby 365 reports that Davids changed only two players for the Province match, after his charges put up a brave display last weekend when they lost 31-10 to the Lions in extremely muddy conditions.
Springbok Sevens star Danwel Demas has recovered from a shoulder injury and replaces Alshaun Bock on the left wing.
In the only other change live-wire prop Jean Botha is also back from injury and replaces Andries Human on the bench.
Davids showed faith in his new loose forward combination of David Hendricks, Josh Strauss and Angelo Brinkhuis who excelled against the Lions.
On Saturday they face another sterling test against Schalk Burger and company, but coach Davids felt that his team is well prepared and ready for the Province onslaught.
Boland last year shocked the Cape Town outfit 15-10 in a mudbath that promises to be even worse come Saturday, with heavy rains and poor drainage likely to reduce the playing surface to a marsh.
