ABSA u/21 Final: Blue Bulls (20) v FS Cheetahs (18) (F/T)

In the second Final today, both the Blue Bulls and the Cheetahs under-21 teams travel to ABSA Stadium in Durban to have a go at taking the honours.

The Bulls have made only one change to their team from the one that took the win in the Semi-Finals. Bêrend Botha will start at lock for the Blue Bulls after Hendrik Roodt was ruled out with a knee injury sustained in the Semi-Finals.

Other than the expected inclusion of JW Jonker and Robert Ebersohn there is no news on who the Cheetahs will field in the final. Their web staff have once again outdone themselves with an excellent display of profesionalism by really getting behind the Cheetah juniors. So much so that they have not even bothered to publish the FS Cheetahs u/21 team to appear in the age group final on their official website.

Will the Blue Bulls manage to walk all over the anonymous Cheetah team?

Or will the invisible Cheetah team be just to hard to tackle?

Kick-off in Durban at 14:00 SA time.

The Bulls will take this easily IMO.

I am NOT supporting them just stating that they will win this one.

  • OFS get nailed a second time for being to fancy at the LO.

Not sure what is causing the delay for the hooker to put it in but there are about 4 dummy jumps and three position switches at the LO and the ball still wasn’t thrown.

  • Ebersohn Converts

    13 – 18 Cheetahs.

Snyman took the silly option really. He had a 3 man overlap with a hooker being the man to beat 10m out and he cut back inside into three players. He is lucky they couldn’t hold him in the tackle.

He is lucky it paid off.

Bulls have a scrum 5m from the Cheetahs line.

Win it well and the flyhalf passes forward to the center. :???:
