Good news, chaps. Adrian Jacobs is not badly hurt at all and won’t be coming home.
In fact, our ace centre may even come into the selection frame for this weekend’s game against the Scots. Sharksworld confirmed this with the Bok star first-hand.
In other news, Bakkies Botha is also ok, although he won’t train today.

This is good news, but I’d still rest Adi for this game and give Mossie and Frans a run at centre.

Here’s some food for thought:
A friend of mine said “continuity” is not what we all make it to be.
His argument was if the guys play a competitive match in one weekend and then play another match 2 weeks later – does it really matter how they lined up in the first match?
I don’t know if I’m doing justice to his theory here…but he thinks what matters most is the preparation during the 1 or 2 weeks between the games.
Does this make sense?

Not really…My daughters birthday is in Dec…and she has to go to school (although she is basically a year younger than most of her mates) – bad planning…I know!
Anyways – I had her tested to see if she is ready for gr1 and had to see the Dr who did the tests….seems she is rather more than ready….so now at least i know where my brains went!

How’s this for bad luck…I eventually get a ticket to go and watch the Nedbank Challenge at Sun City…and now I cannot go as I am starting my new job…cannot ask for a day off in the first week, i guess…or can I??
