The good news is that the Saracens supporters don’t occupy the top three spots on the Sharksworld Superbru table anymore.
The bad news is that one of them is still firmly on his perch at the top.
Saying this is getting boring now, but we still don’t have a repeat MVP. It’s a good thing there are 22 rounds in this tournament and we only have 16 players so it HAS to happen sometime. This week Villie takes the honours as MVP with a score of 7,5. That he is doing it for the first time, is quite amazing if you consider that he has not been lower than 3rd position throughout the series. The runner-up MVP spots are shared by Sandshark and Millissa scoring 7,0 points. Superviv takes 4th with 5,0 points before we have a bunch of you fighting it out in 5th on 4,5 points.
Top 5 MVPs
Villie – 7,5
Sandshark – 7,0
Milissa – 7,0
Superviv – 5,0
CSBok – 4,5
Bergbok – 4,5
PJLD – 4,5
Blackshark – 4,5
Silver Fox – 4,5
There are still a few of you who insist on picking against Bath and this week you came closer than ever to finally getting it right. Bath are still undefeated but ended up kissing their sisters rather than beating the Northampton Saints, leaving only 0,29% of punters to feel proud about sitting on the fence. That draw ended everyone’s dreams of a shot at the Grand Slam Bonus Point.
Only 35% of punters picked the Sharks to beat Wasps, other than those two games we mostly got the results pretty much right with 62% being the next lowest correct pick percentage.
There has been a bit of a shakeup at the top with some of the Saracens boys finding themselves booted down the ladder. Saracens supporter Villie may just need to build a house on the top of that pedestal with a comfortable lead of 5,17 points over Sandshark in 2nd, who is a further 0,91 points ahead of fellow Bath supporter blackshark. The gap between blackshark in 3rd and Milissa in 6th is only 0,75 points though and we can expect some changes there next week I am sure.
I got my hopes up last night thinking I had managed to haul Milissa in after her early round lead and managed to get the Rocket for the round. Unfortunately this lady from New York is no slouch and managed to keep up that early run and scores the rocket for herself this week with a 5 position climb up the log to 7th.
The long drop has been turned into a row of latrines this week with three guys needing to go at the same time. Robdylan, Silver Fox and McLovin are awarded this week’s latrine for being the longest droppers.
With Villie doing so well this week I may just have to forget to send out pick reminders and stop making subtle reminder comments all of next week………
