On Monday night the FNB Varsity Cup kicks off.
As I mentioned in the comments on the post announcing the launch of the Superbru competition for the Varsity Cup there may be a prize involved.
Superbru had a competition, giving away a FNB Varsity Cup Jersey to each pool captain of the first 10 pools to reach 10 players. Sharksworld today got their notification that we are one of those 10 winning pools.
As promised, if we get the prize it will be passed on to you. And with that we are announcing that the winner of our FNB Varsity Cup Superbru pool will receive the jersey as a prize.
If you haven’t alread signed up, now it the time do so. As Usual the pool Name is Sharksworld. While you are over on Superbru have a look at the jersey that could be yours in a few months time.
The first matches in this year’s FNB Varsity Cup are being played on Monday Night already, so don’t dilly dally.

The University of Forte Hare (UFH) beat the University of the Western Cape (UWC) 31-6 in their FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International exhibition match on Monday.
UFH went into the match with a slight mental advantage having beaten UWC 17-16 at the University Sport South Africa (USSA) games in July 2008.
The coaching compliment of UWC were positive ahead of the clash despite having limited preparation time with coach Shamiel Boer making a contradictory statement before the game saying his team aimed to play traditional student rugby; but with no risks.
