In an interesting anomaly the Reds play the Stormers in the last match of the day.
The Reds complete their tour of the USA with a trip down to CIA headquarters at Langley, Virginia. There is some concern in the camp that even if their security passes are approved in time, they may only get 10 or 15 minutes on the park before Frikkie steps in to shoo them away.
Okay but seriously in what must be a first of some sort for the Super 14 the fixtures for this weekend seem as if they have been assigned after a round in a knock out competition. Of the 4 matches being played today only one sees a winning side from last week in it. The rest are all teams that lost last week. Tomorrow’s matches are all match-ups of teams that won their matches in Round 1.
The Reds showed moments of brilliance when the Bulls were asleep last week and will be intent on showing enough of that for a victory this week.
The Stormers, if Nico from Parow is to be believed, were robbed by the referee last week and will by trying to set the record straight this week.
