48 Both teams excecute good kicks, placing the ball behind each other and gaining territory in the process. However regular turnovers and good defence prevent scoring from taking place.
44 Smith and Phibbs make good yards for the Brumbies but Lealiifano spolils a promising move by kicking directly into touch.
42 The Crusaders win their 16th turnover of the match on their 22 and Brett sends the Brumbies back with a well directed kick.

From the scrum its a full arm penalty to the Brumbies which the decide to kick for touch, to the delight of the home fans. They attack inside the 22 meter area and gain the free kick, taken quickly and are only meter short of the line, they send it to the left and knock it on. the Crusaders kick it down field and the Brumbies attack though Mark Gerrard who chips ahead, the Crusaders knock the ball on and the Brumbies win the scrum.

    Brumbies go 2nd
    Crusaders go 6th

This result is not really a train smash for the Crusaders’ campaign, it was an away game. It does show that the Crusaders will not be all conquering this season.

  • Only Milissa picked the Saders to win this game on LMS. She is still green so will survive another round.

I have noticed that two of our biggest WP supporters will be shouting for the Lions tonight.

WPW and PJLD have forgotten to make their picks so will have the Lions as default AND they have both already used their lifeline.

It’s okay guys, you can play in the fanstasy league competition still.
