The Crusaders travel to Sydney to try and prevent this being their worst ever S14 string of matches.
The Crusaders’ worst ever record for successive matches is three losses and a draw. That was back in 1996 and were the results in the first four rounds of Superrugby for the Crusaders. They are currently equal with that record after losing in rounds 2,3 & 4 and drawing in round 5 this season. A loss today could signal the lifting of the cover over the panic button.
The Waratahs on the other hand will want to show that the slip against fellow countrymen last week was just that, a slip and nothing more.
Will we have a dubious new record for the Crusaders? I think so.
