The Hurricanes travel to Brisbane to take on the Reds in a must win match for the Hurricanes.
Like most of the matches this weekend, the outcome holds the future of the SA sides in this season’s competition in the balance. A Hurricanes win will see the Sharks being able to finish no better than 4th and will see the Bulls require a win to get a home semi-final.
For the Hurricanes a possible 2nd place finish could be achieved with a win, provided the Bulls lose in the final game of the round.
The Reds can only go 12th if they overcome a 93 points difference over the Stormers and earn themselves a bonus point. So essentially there is only pride to play for in 13th place where they will stay regardless of the result.
