Bryce Lawrence will referee the Bulls Semi-Final and Stuart Dickenson will referee the Chiefs match.

Rugby 365 reports that SANZAR has announced the full complement of match officials for the semifinals which will be refereed by Stuart Dickinson and Bryce Lawrence, two of the refrerees appointed to the Lions’ Tests in South Africa later this year.

Jonathan Kaplan will referee the Final.

South African Jonathan Kaplan will referee the Super 14 southern hemisphere championship final on May 30, a statement from the organisers said.

Stuart Dickinson of Australia and Bryce Lawrence of New Zealand have been chosen to control the semifinals next weekend and the names of the assistant referees for the three fixtures are expected to be released on Monday.

“These appointments were made on merit and irrespective of the nationality of the referees or the teams involved,” South African Rugby Union referees manager Andre Watson said.

    How can Bryce Lawrence be considered amongst the top 3 referees in the competition?

    What has Mark Lawrence done that has caused Bryce Lawrence to be considered a better referee????????? :evil:

  • How Dof!!!!!!!

    Send a Kiwi to ref an NZ v SA match and an Aussie to ref to Kiwi teams.

    Why not send the Aussie to Sa and the Kiwi to do the derby? That way you get neutral and “merit” referees with one stone.
