Andy Powell, Joe Worsley, Nathan Hines, Donncha O’Calllaghan (captain), Simon Shaw, Euan Murray, Ross Ford, Andrew Sheridan.

  • Looks like I’ve just won A LOT of money on my bet that Wales will have the most starters in the Lions first test XV.

Unless someone does something spectacular in this game, none of them will be selected for the Lions test team on SAt. SO the Lions test team will be as expected with only 1 or possibly 2 positions not definitely finalised.

  • I see that Brussow has FINALLY received a call-up to the Bok squad. This must mean that Schalk is majorly doubtful!!

  • Yeah, I’m glad that Brussow got the call up. Read on Supersport that Div was contemplating a Juan, Spies, Kanko trio (wtf!). I think that with McGeechan experimenting a lot, Div thought he could to. Add to that that he wanted JPP at fulback (started there yes, but does not have the greatest kicking ability imo). This Lions team also has a number of players out of position. COULD be a close game.
