Wynand Olivier joins Bok squad

Apparently Adi Jacobs is struggling with injury and Wynand Olivier has been called up to the Bok squad as cover.

This is pretty good news for the Sharks, since the wiley Olivier presumably won’t be available for Fridays’ Currie Cup clash in Durban.

Loose forwards Pedrie Wannenberg and Deon Stegmann will also miss the trip to Durban, having not yet recovered from a lung and ankle injury respectively.

More as we get it.

  • This guy is seriously overrated. He played well in the S14 but never performs at Bok level.
And he hates passing to his outside backs…

  • So if Adi doesn’t play it’ll be Olivier & Fourie?

  • Seems as if Mossie also has a niggle, will probably start with Wynand Olivier and Jean de Villiers.

Thank goodness I am not a coach – I love to experiment, so, I suppose my team selections would have been a bit odd, but if you do not take chances….
