Luke, Worms back for WP

Western Province have made two changes up front for this weekend’s clash with the Lions in Cape Town. Luke Watson returns to captain the side from number 8 after missing out last week due to a bout of flu.

In the only other change to the run-on team, former Lions lock Anton “Worms” van Zyl will pack down next to Adriaan Fondse in the second row. New Zealander Chris Jack will be on the bench to give more gametime to players who are in the union’s long-term plans.

Last week’s number 8, Pieter Louw, drops to the bench in place of Pieter Myburgh, while Conrad Hoffman comes into the number 20 shirt in place of Bolla Conradie.

    That must be the smallest 11 to 15 in the history of CC rugby. Their combined weight is probably less than January’s boepens.
