This has to count as THE key deciding match in this year’s Currie Cup – deciding, that is, which of these woeful excuses for a Premier Division side will claim the wooden spoon.
The Leopards, having lost every game they’ve played and accumulated no points whatsoever, have one hand firmly on the ligneous ladle. Will Boland be able to snatch defeat from the jaws of, well, further defeat? They won the first round battle between these minnows – collecting their only points of the campaign in the process.
The more pertinent question, to my mind, is whether anybody will actually be watching and whether anybody actually cares. PLEASE can we get these losers out of the Currie Cup and revert to a six-team format?
Kick-off is at 19h10.
