Well, some news, at least.
It seems that Chris Boyd will return to be the Sharks backline coach in the upcoming Super 14. Speaking to Craig Lewis of the Daily News, John Plumtree had the following to say about his old mate coming back:
“We really enjoyed working with him this year during a tough campaign. We had a number of disruptions through injury which made it difficult to maintain consistency. However, next year there will be more competition for places and so that will certainly add an edge to proceedings and hopefully we can take things up a notch.”
The proof of the pudding, as always, is in the eating, so let’s just hope that Boyd has more of an impact in 2010 than was visible in 2009. Grant Bashford and Deon Kayser will continue to play their roles in the coaching team for 2010 as well.Tweet
