The Sharks vs The Stormers k/o 19:05
The Sharks face The Stormers at Newlands in the final game of the Neo Africa Tri Series, although a warmup each team will undoubtedly like to take the mental edge out of this fixture.
Kickoff is at 19:05 and Sharksworld will be bringing you updates via this thread and twitter.
What a PROPer mess
What’s going on with our props? How much longer are we going to bugger around playing guys out of position? It’s really starting to get a little ridiculous now; the front row is meant to be a real strength of the Sharks and it’s rapidly turning into a glaring weakness. [...]
In defence of Dries
Andries Strauss gets a pretty bum rap on this site and I am by no means blameless in this matter. But a few comments posted late yesterday really got me thinking. In an age where loyalty is supposedly dead, Strauss truly is a remarkable player. [...]

Let’s just all settle down for a bit
My name’s Rob and I’m a Sharks supporter. I’m disappointed as hell today, but it’s not like I’m not going still be a Sharks supporter tomorrow, or every other day for the rest of my life… [...]
Sharks vs Force recap
Last nights Neo Africa Tri Series match at Newlands was attended by 4222 people, made up of mostly Newlands staff, Sharks fans but there were about 7 very vocal Force fans.
This report is going to come across a bit negative but I promise you it wasn’t pretty last night.
Not time to hit the panic stations
The recent warm-up game against the Western Force was a disappointing result, although it does need to be seen in the right context as well. While some reports and comments (not on this site) have suggested that the Sharks do not have a strong enough squad to compete in the Super 14 this year and that they are undergoing a “transitional phase”, I believe that there is more than enough potential for this squad to be competitive.
