@rekinek (Comment 18) : oh i see where you are going. super 14 does have a lot more intensity. you have the travelling, 13 games etc etc. heineken cup doesn't offer the same intensity. he would have experienced it when he was part of the sharks, eventhough he never played s14, he would have trained with the guys back then.

@Megatron (Comment 11) : meg, i watched mainly highlights of SM in action for Perpignan and as usual feel that if he is played our penalty misses will once again be our acheles heel,attack and defence not too shabby but we have lost too many games in the past due to poor kicking.

at least we know what to expect of monty. meyer yet to be tried I guess, but could he be better option than pienaar.

Playing overseas, the weather plays a major role in the tempo of the game. Heineken Cup rugby is more forward-dominated, there is a lot of tactical kicking, so I’m really excited to see how I measure up in the challenge that lies ahead.” he said it, i just echoed it.

this is a tough call. ruan doesn’t boot away possession so he could be a good choice at ten. meyer has been playing nh rugby and that is all they do. monty i don’t want to give up on, but is s14 a step to high for him? no wonder plum is keeping his cards to his chest, he has too many and a wrong play could be detrimental. plum never had this many conundrums last year. The sharks have a wealth of talent but a lot of players don’t automatically get a position.

steve meyer played better in 30 minutes than monty dumond has his whole career at the sharks! Hahahahahaha
