  • Ref needs to open his eyes, scrum is a joke, saders props hardly binding, should be a penalty every time.

  • Anyone else impressed by the Cheethas last night? I am actually confident they WON’T finish in the bottom two this year. Hopefuly not to our cost.

  • @klempie (Comment 10) : O right. Suppose it makes sense. No use building a 70 000 seater if you never going to fill it.

  • @klempie (Comment 11) : @McLovin (Comment 13) : True, they always perform in the local desrbys, they need a mentality upgrade, they’re stuck in CC mode, they need to broaden their hrizons.

  • @klempie (Comment 17) : It was an excellent game, also think the ref facilitated the flow well….much more entertaining than the ozzie and kiwi games from yesterday.

The ozzies got it wrong, it’s not the kicking game that’s been the problem for them, it’s there refs.

Btw, didnt see any of that much publicised ‘running’ rugby they were advocating…trust an ozzie to say he’ll do something and then do the exact opposite…

  • Well guys I`ll be honest. I don`t know who can stop the Bulls from retaining their title. After last nights performance I`m a very worried man.

Kudu`s to the Cheetahs though, they looked a lot better than I expected. I think on the night they would`ve been good enough for most teams. Bulls were just in a different class. . . Again.

Also I think they should consider Mapoe at centre. Uys wasn`t very impressive and something happens everytime Mapoe or Knock Knockwe touch the ball! Cheetahs might have the best wings in the country at the moment!

  • @CoffeeShopBok;-) (Comment 21) : I`m out by one. Hope I get a margin point or something! Good thing `Saders got a bonus point. They might be our only hope to take out the Bulls!

  • @Original Pierre (Comment 23) :

You’ll get the margin points , not bad it all counts, I was 30 sec away from being spot on.

I don’t think I can handle the Bulls winning another Super trophy. But then I also predicted that the Bulls are gonna implode big time this season..one can only hope.

You lucky the linesman had a brainfart in the first half or it could have been a different result..

  • @CoffeeShopBok;-) (Comment 25) : yeah well, the Saders are still rusty, they should’ve put the game away in the first 20min when they had 90% territory and lots of possession.

Remember a lot of these guys are in their 2nd year of super rugby, robbie fruean was on debut…but they won today!

Agreed not bad 1st game out and as always the Saders bring in class players that slot right into superrugby.
Always have a soft spot for the underdogs.
