@Salmonoid (Comment 49) : Very true, but their inability to plan for the future and keep investing in future talent as well as current talent is costing the franchise much more. The problem with Straeuli is, he played for 3 different unions in his time, that's even befor the profesional era, that's why he's not worried about developing local talent, he just wants to win, but without player loyalty that seems impossible.

If the Sharks win constantly the fans will be there, management know this and they are even more aware that failure by the Sharks sees massive downturns in attendance.
