The Lions head on to Canberra this week after losing badly in Wellington. The Brumbies have themselves also just landed, but are on the up after recording an unlikely win over the Stormers in round 3. For the home side, this will present a golden opportunity to get 5 points under their belts against a severely weakened Lions team. Coach Dick Muir won’t admit it to anyone, but his decision to give his reserves a run speaks volumes about his own belief that this game can be won. Simply put, he has none.

I was wondering if I was the only person totally frustrated by Steve Walsh and i started to think about the players and what would happen if they got totally pissed off with him and either didnt come back on the field at half time or said to him either give the whistle to someone else or we are walking off
I remember when the “Rebel” NZ test team came here and there was a SA ref whos name escapes me now- decided all the SA teams needed his help to win. Midway through the game/test Hayden and Dalton went over to him and very politly told him that if he blew one more thing against the NZ side the whole team would walk off the field and get on the next flight to NZ It was said in the presence of other refs and touch judges
The ref was replaced and the tour continued

both the sharks and lions are in aus, so maybe they should get together during the week, dick can train the sharks backs, and plum can train the lions forwards, and they can get some good training against eachother.
