It’s the final match of a long (and mostly unsuccessful) tour for the Sharks and it’s the dreaded “one-foot-on-the-plane” syndrome that tends to see South African sides do badly in this fixture.
The Hurricanes have themselves just returned from a long road-trip to the Republic, though and having lost three times in a row, will be pretty desperate to shake off the jet-lag and hand the Sharks a hiding. Having tasted victory last week for the first time in what feels like a decade, the Sharks are not going to want to suffer defeat again so soon afterwards.
Whatever happens, this one is going to be a humdinger.
