Stormers team to face Crusaders

Allister Coetzee, head coach of the Vodacom Stormers, today announced his team to play the Crusaders at Newlands on Friday 30 April. Kick-off is at 19h10.

The only change to the side that lost to the Reds last Friday is the inclusion of JD Moller at loosehead prop. He replaces JC Kritzinger, who suffered a calf injury.

Eusebio Guinazu will be one of the substitutes.

Limited seating and standing room tickets to the match are still available from Computicket and the Newlands Ticket Office.

  • …and the Crusaders have made 4 changes to their side to face the Stormers at Newlands.

    Todd Blackadder has brought back injured hooker Corey Flynn and loosehead prop Wyatt Crockett, Ti’i Paulo and Ben Franks drop to the bench. George Whitelock comes in on the blindside flank replacing Thomas Waldrom, who also drops to the bench.

    In the backs Colin Slade comes back in at Fullback allowing Sean Maitland to return to the rigt wing, Adam Whitelock drops out of the match day 22.

  • Gonna be interesting, need to close down Guildford, he’s been impressive this season. Surprised they dropped Waldrom, only means he’ll be more dangerous late on in the game with fresh legs.

    My guess is he will play 10 minutes before breaking both arms for the 37th time. :???:

  • I see on Supersport that Albertus Buckle (griquas prop) has been training with the Stormers this week. He is available for them for the rest of the season.
