South African under-20 coach Eric Sauls has named his side to take on Scotland in the second round of the IRB Junior World Championship tonight. Sharks youngster Sibusiso Sithole and Lubabalo Mthembu have both been included in the 22, after missing out on the opening game due to injury.
Pattrick Lambie, who scored 25 points as the Baby Boks demolished Tonga over the weekend, continues at fullback, with Sithole coming in at left wing to replace Sampie Mastriet. All 6 of the young Sharks who made the touring squad will be in action this evening, with Mode Hadebe and Kene Okafor retaining their places in the starting forward pack, at hooker and lock respectively.
Mthembu, who is a loose forward by trade, has been named on the bench, along with another Sharks lock, Peet Marais. CJ Stander of the Bulls retains the captain’s armband – and the number 8 jersey – for tonight’s encounter, which kicks off in Santa Fe, Argentina at 19h00 SA Time.
