  • Klemps: winning the CC is a long shot with no experienced front row and very few good inside backs.

I’d love to win, but most importantly, I’m loving the way the boys are playing.

Persist with this, and we could be carrying a lot more than the CC soon.

By the way, Lambie really being shown up for pace, hey?

  • we’re actually looking ok here… forwards are standing up well, in fact they’re dominating the collisions.

Still lacking a bit of direction in the backs. I reckon we need to switch Lambie and Meyer around.

  • @robdylan (Comment 108) : I agree with the 13. I think Mapoe may do there nicely. I think Lambie wouldnt get the breaks he has had here if he were at 10. Meyer is doing ok distributing and Macleod is clearing very efficiently.

You need guys like that who are not too flashy, but create a bit of space for play-makers like Lambie.

I really think he has had a good half.

Just got to love that tit Joel Stransky commentating how the Sharks were ‘desperate’ moving Lambie to 12 and by the end of 80 minutes it proved an inspired selection…

No mention from Joel though at the end of the game how he was proven to be an absolute tit in his pre-match comments though…

Yet again the act of reading is getting the better of you…odd cozz you read half the message and then make innuendo’s…
Not goon waste time to explain man….

You go find facts where a shoulder charge has not received a yellow when a ref gives a yellow for a foot nudge and where a player is warned in the danger zone 5 times of which 3 were “next yellow” warnings and 1st was a 3 in 1 warning…then you can change my mind…
You opinion has no chance of doing that….

  • Mvovo’s proving he’s a consistent performer and scorer of tries on the wing… exatly the characteristics that make a GREAT player.

Andwasn’t it great having JP back this week… almost looks like the JP of old. I reckon he’ll be back in the End of year Bok squad. Or maybe even sooner if the selectors panic after we loose in Brisbane next week! (There’s a fundamental problem in our Bok team at the moment, not something that can be fixed with a bit of tweaking like the team and coaches eluded to last week!)

If anything, Burden showed the pace and agility that a hooker should have (take note John Smit) and Ruan Pienaar showed what we’e missing by keeping Januarie on at scrumhalf. There’s no denying Januarie is a good player, but you only realise what we’ve been missing when Pienaar eventually came on… if only PDV had given him game time during the Italian tests, we could’ve proved what a lot of us have been saying for some time now (expect WPW  )
