The Sharks play the Pumas on Friday night in a game that won’t be televised. This week, we have four pairs of tickets to give away.

To win a pair of tickets, send an email to [email protected] explaining why you deserve them and what sacrfices you are going to make to get to the game. The four best stories will win tickets.

Last week we had lots of entries from people who were not able to attend the game. Anyone who does that this week will be shot. Simple.

Thanks as always to the Sharks website for the tickets. Entries close at 12h00 on Thursday 22 July.

  • Oh but the WP v Leopards game will be televised and the Bulls v Pumas was televised. Out of 7 dedicated supersport channels, they cant find 1 to broadcast the Sharks game! Frucking idiots!

  • Problem isn’t lack of channels. It’s lack of tv crews

  • @robdylan (Comment 7) : no excuse, they have more than enough crews for other stuff.

  • @Jarson (Comment 5) : Yeah I`m not happy about this state of affairs either. So many channels, so little options.
It`s not as if we`re asking them to shunt their mobile broadcasting bus all the way out to Witbank or Oudsthoorn, the game is right there in Dbn . . .

If they can broadcast 2 games in succession on a saturday afternoon they must have enough people to handle two games on a friday night as well?

Guess we`ll all have to log on to SW come friday night . . . no pressure on whoever does the live updates for us ;-)

  • sabc should start televising games too,say mnet one on a friday and two on a saturday and sabc broadcasting the other,im sure brits cover most epl games on a sat through various channels,we should easily cover 4 games at varying times.
