Who would have thought that this match would be a battle for fifth position?
Had anyone asked me 6 weeks ago how this match would go, I’d have called a Blue Bulls victory by 40 plus points. In light of the recent results and the law of averages I am now hard pressed to call the Blue Bulls by a margin of more than 10. Not that a margin of 10 isn’t a comfortable victory but the lions have to win something sometime, don’t they?
The Bulls have had two defeats on the trot and will be looking to stampede their authority all over this game.

Losing a lifeline doen’t mean you WON’T win. We had the case in the very 1st one i think where we had guys who had lost their lifelines early on and still made it to the final game where there were no players who hadn’t lost lifelines.

I was impressed with the Lions yesterday… they ran the Bulls closer than the scoreline suggests. Going to give the Sharks a run for thier money next weekend, but I’m hoping the sharks will edge it at home.
