It was great seeing you on the field again Jean, even if it was just for a minute. Heal fast we want to see a lot more of you in the Super 15 and then after that hopefully in the World Cup. If you’re fit you definitely deserve a call up.

Really disappointing to see you injured just as your Sharks career was finally getting underway. Hang in there and remember that these things always happen for a reason, even if it’s not always easy to see what that reason could be. Murphy has a way of coming out every once and a while and kicking you to the ground. Just as the squad started looking in good shape with everyone starting to gel and players coming back from injury the bastard once again shows up to spoil the party.
Jean, You are a Bus, a wreckingball and a absolute legend. I was hoping to see you come back and prove the Bok selectors that you deserved a spot, but unfortunately we will have to wait a while to see your bullocking runs in the black and white again. Take your time and get fit for good!
Steve, your time at the Sharks has been a difficult one, and finally when you show your worth in the number 10 jersey you are removed due to injury. As with Jean, take your time and heal properly, time is one your side, and I have little doubt that you will become another Kings Park favourtie once you return.

As we get closer to the weekend rugby, the impact of losing you becomes clearer. I can’t help but sigh sadly as I think of all the Leopards players who were actually able to sleep last night, not having nightmares about a big, scary man running over, through and on top of them.
You have a huge fan base here: if you need some support, come blog with us here and we can laugh about THAT tackle on Pierre Spies together, or even make jokes about the WP “boys” sexuality.
