The table topping Sharks take on fourth placed Griquas in an untelevised match on Friday night in a match that some supporters might label a grudge match, after the Sharks threw away a victory against this very team only 8 weeks ago.
What would have been expected to be a close game, Griquas have been hit with an injury list as long as their team bus, and have even gone so far as to rope in some fringe Sharks players from next week.
The Sharks haven’t lost to Griquas in the Tank in quite some time, and I suspect they will extend their winning run to 7 games. That said, the Sharks will not be able to rest on their laurels as Griquas can easily come from nowhere, as they have proved before.
Watch out for a rare Currie Cup appearance from Andre Pretorius off the bench.
