Punts of the Weekend

Results from last week:

We seem to be making a bit of a come back, seeing as we actually got the farm back this weekend. As everybody knows, the Sharks managed to beat WP. The take a chance bet bombed out quite horribly, with the Cheetahs running away with a 57 point victory over the Leopards.

Unfortunately for us, the Tri Nations bet failed as well, with South Africa leading at half time, but not at full time. Our bet from down under failed as well, with the Waikato team losing by 12 points, just not enough to make the handicap.

On to this weekend:

Bet the farm:

South Africa to beat the Aussies by 5 points or more – 7/10

Take a chance:

This week we are taking a chance in the Premiership, with Newcastle to beat Wolverhampton – 18/10

ITM bet of the weekend:

HH’s bet of the weekend in the ITM Cup this time around is a small treble:
Waikato to win
Wellington to win
Canterbury to win

That treble should get you about 2/1

Soccer bet of the Weekend:

Arsenal play Blackburn, and the Gunners should run away with it – 6/10

Currie Cup bet of the Weekend:

Western Province to beat the Cheetahs by 10 points or more

Hail Mary:

Hail Mary’s are not for the faint hearted, and these generally only come through once in a while. Here we go:

Lions by 25 points or more
Sharks by 17 points or more
WP by 10 points or more
Springboks by 5 points or more

Grand total – 6/1

  • Hmmm I think I`m gonna go low on the Sharks and Lions at 17 and 25 respectively. Gets me 3.2 . . .
Evening games are very rarely high scoring affairs.

There`s an option to add ” second half most points scored” at 9.5/10 here as well.

Oh have to mention I got NZ to win the tri nations at 1.35 some months ago. Makes up for those soccer losses !

This week I`m gonna stick to my guns. No soccer bets for me thanx.

    Happy Punting everyone!

  • @Ice (Comment 2) : A lot of good it did me. Sharks won by 18

If only we missed one conversion or penalty I would`ve been in the money cause the Lions did their part.
