Late-breaking news is that Anton Bresler will be on the Sharks bench this evening in the number 18 jersey. Mike Rhodes, named at 18, shifts down one spot and Skollie Ndlovu falls out of the squad.

Is this to reward Bresler, because Hargreaves is looking dodgy or is Skollie injured? Or, heaven forbid, is Willem Alberts looking shaky, so the loose forward cover needed to be bulked up and bolstered?
Don’t you think he rather deserves a chance??? He was playing quite well during Vodacom Cup.

Not sure how big Bresler is, but if he brings some bulk and aggression to the party ala Alberts I`m happy.

Bresler is a safer bet then Ndlovu in my eyes…

Anton is around 2m and roughly 110 kilos, I think. Something like that.
Against the Bulls, I think it makes much more sense to have a proper lock and a bulky loose forward on the bench, than a makeshifyt lock and yet another lightweight loosie. Not sure why they didn’t just name this combo to begin with
