Our weekly “pin-up”, page 3 model, is none other than our first Durban boytjie to feature in my (now) very famous “column”…he is also the Birthday boy for this week!

Name, nickname and where do you live?
Richard Ferguson and I live in Durban North

What do you do for a living?
I am a boring accountant/auditor

Who do you support and why?
I support the Sharks because we have the best supporters in the world. They also make decisions that create the best debates! And they are not the Bulls!!

What was your most memorable rugby moment (personally experienced or a team / player)
Playing my first game as an U11 outside centre.. Never scored a try though!!

What is your Dream team (old and current players)?
15. Christian Cullen

14. James Small

13. Jaque Fourie

12. Tim Horran

11. Jonah Lomu

10. Daniel Carter

9. George Gregan

8. Wahl Bartmann

7. Richie McCaw

6. Andre Venter

5. Mark Andrews

4. John Eales

3. John Smit

2. Sean Fitzpatrick

1. Os du Randt

Which co-bloggers opinion do you value the Most? Why?
Morne and Big Fish

What is the biggest sacrifice you’ve made to watch a rugby match?
I missed an Honours Exam to go watch the British & Irish Lions match in Durban in 2009

Who is your least liked player?
Frans Steyn

Who are your favourite 3 players of all time and why?

John Smit – legendary captain, gave his all for this country

Mark Andrews – Such a fantastic lock, and never had an ordinary game

James Small – The official hard man of Sharks rugby.

If you could have a blogger deleted, who would it be and why?
Myself, because I have to start studying for my end of year exams.. lol

If you could select a coach (past or present) to be with Your team – who would it be?
Kevin Putt… hahahaha. No seriously.. Jake White

How did you end up on SW, wasting valuable company time?
I started on Just Rugby playing the Fantasy League and found Sharksworld from there..

Who is your favourite referee – current or old?
Andre Watson – Legendary!!

Why Rugby ?
Because its not for moffies..

How do you react when your team loses?
I generally wait for the stats to come out and study them until we play again..

What is your most memorable rugby moment ever?
The Springboks vs Australia game at the Rugby World Cup 1995 when Hendriks scored that fantastic try!

What is your favourite rugby ground?
There can only be one.. Kings Park, the Tank!!

If you could play – what position would suite you best and why?
Right now, it would be prop.. Because of my unique physique..

Do you have any pre-match routines (home or going to the game)?
Biltong and whiskey.. As easy as that!

I like the way you think, Rich!  ;-)

We were 9 guys…rented a Hyundai H1 “Kombi” and had a coolerbox in there that looked like a fridge that’s been kicked onto it’s side…4 cases of Heineken and 2 cases John Deere’s in there! :)

So it’s not small…has a big industrial area
