Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has named an unchanged team to face Western Province at Newlands in the second semi final on Saturday. This team managed a 70 point win over the Leopards.
Drotske has gone for the front row that has played so well during the tournament, which means that Springbok prop CJ van der Linde will again sit on the bench. Van der Linde will ironically move to Cape Town after the Currie Cup to join the Stormers in preparation for next year’s Super 15.
Captain Juan Smith will relish playing in the playoffs and we will all be looking forward to the battle between the him and Schalk Burger.
Free State Cheetahs: 15 Hennie Daniller, 14 Philip Snyman, 13 Robert Ebersohn, 12 Meyer Bosman, 11 Corné Uys, 10 Louis Strydom, 9 Tewis De Bruyn, 8 Ashley Johnson, 7 Juan Smith (captain), 6 Hendro Scholtz, 5 Waltie Vermeulen, 4 Francois Uys, 3 WP Nel, 2 Adriaan Strauss, 1 Coenie Oosthuizen.
Replacements: 16 Skipper Badenhorst, 17 CJ van der Linde, 18 Izak van der Westhuizen, 19 Kabamba Floors, 20 Tertius Carse, 21 Sias Ebersohn, 22 Riaan Smit.

And it might just work for them… unchanged team…
Well go Cheetahs
gee i don’t know if i should go for u because in the end Our JAWS are going to eat u alive after we finished with the Biltong Boys
i wonder what the Province meat taste like
Is juan smith eligible to play?
Good front row as always and the loose 3 should be competative . .
Other than that I`m afraid they haven`t got much.
Thing with the FS is they are an excellant example of sinergy . . ( 1 + 1 = 3 )
Don`t see how they could get a result at Newlands though. Then again, that`s exactly what I said last year before they went to Dbn.
