  • Last year we put our CC finalist players to start the first match, and it proved detrimental. If this is the case, and IF PDV learnt his lesson, who will play wing in the first match, bar Basson. Then again do wings really need that much of rest?

That Combatbok dude makes epic videos.

Some beautiful moves on that one. My favourites are the try at 1:37 when he eats Drew Mitchell and James O’Connor and the huge tackle at 0:59.

  • Questions must be asked as to why he even took the field vs Bulls if its the same injury he had during the layoff?

  • Im going to stir the pot now….when was the last time we saw the best of JP….dont get me wrong, I love the oak, but he’s not done much since 2007, esp for the Sharks. I would rather have Odwa cover Habana, he’s match fit, while JP has only played 18 mins since Tri nations where lets be honest, the only work he did was running between attack and defense lines

  • @Tintin (Comment 24) : in ’08 jp was off form & was put on a ‘conditioning program’, in that year’s eoyt he was the BEST bok on the park, he carried that form into the s1d for the sharks, then he played a crucial role in slaying the british & irish lions – remember his try in the 2nd match @ loftus from 1st phase ball? – then he continued that rich vein of form into the tri-nations where the boks nilled the all blacks. This year he was plagued by injuries.
