The Vodacom Blue Bulls have contracted their players who will make up the majority of their Super 15 squad next year.
Most notably is the new signing of Currie Cup Player of the Year Bjorn Basson, who has been in amazing form and will no doubt be a targeted man in the first year of the extended competition. He has scored a new record 21 tries in the Currie Cup this season, and will be looking to adding to his Super Rugby tally he started at the Cheetahs.
Players who are no longer contracted include JL Potgieter, who has moved to the Sharks, Jaco Engels, who made his move to vastly talented group of players at the EP Kings and Wilhelm Steenkamp, who is now at the Cheetahs.
Out of the squad of 47 players, there are an astonishing 19 Springbok players, one of which will soon become the highest test capped player for South Africa, Victor Matfield.
