Amla is a god amongst men. We need anonther 100 runs or so.

I would declare on 400 runs and go for it.. I am sure we can bowl them out in 120 overs or so.

  • @Richard Ferguson (Comment 3) :
Pakistan are well capable of chasing 400 in one and a half days if we let them. But we must show the balls and chase the win. Back the bowlers again.

Between Harris and Botha, we have two very capable spinners!

    We should win this comfortably..

  • @Richard Ferguson (Comment 5) :
Harris hasn’t looked very threatening: not enough turn so far. Botha has been excellent. I also think the quicks will come to the party again.

  • @Big Fish (Comment 6) :

Harris can get the run rate down well.. He was going at less than 2 an over. I agree that he hasn’t looked like taking a wicket, but in tandem, they will attack Botha to get runs off him, and will then come off second best..

  • @Richard Ferguson (Comment 7) :
I don’t believe that a bowler who can only tie up an end is good enough in test cricket.

Harris can take wickets and has done well in the past, but at the moment he looks staid.

JH Kallis is the greatest cricketer of all time.

Botha to Taufeeq Umar, OUT, did I just jinx him or what, tossed up outside off and turned away sharply, Taufeeq, eager to cash in on the width, went after it, got a thick edge and Kallis at slip dived to his left and made no mistake, crucial blow, Pakistan have lost two set batsmen this innings
