  • That’s Abraham Benjamin de Villiers’ 2nd double ton of his career.

One of 6 Saffers to have done that.

  • This looks like a dead pitch..count our bowling attack(so-called)and poor catching..will let them bat till a wicket falls..looks like it ‘s gonna be a draw..

Shoulds just piled on the runs and tried not to bat again.

  • @Big Fish (Comment 40) : In case it’s a good wicket. Which clearly it is. You only keep batting in that situation if you’re wanting a draw out of the game.

  • Guys, its day 2. We bat till we are all out, and still would have 3 full days minimum to bowl them out twice.

This declaration might mean we need to bat again – and scoring is slower on an older wicket. Stop reading the Graeme Smith Strategy handbook: its too naïve.

  • Ab had a chance to become first sa batsman to score triple ton,and he gets denied that opportunity.. :-( dissapointed with smith .. Shouldve given ab the chance..could ve been out next ball or left not out @299 ,but give him the chance..
