As we all know by now, pre-season games does not mean a lot in the bigger scheme of things but lets have a look at the results for boredom’s sake!
The Reds scored another impressive win by thumping the Brumbies 38 – 5, outscoring them 6 tries to 1.
The newly created Melbourne Rebels lost their 1st ever game against a near full strength Crusaders side 19 – 14.
The Blues recorded their 2nd win in as many weeks by defeating the Hurricanes 33 – 22.
The Super Rugby season is still a long way from being over but surely all the winning teams should be overflowing with confidence right about now.

Bjorn Basson’s is still a try-scoring machine, 3 tries on debut even if it was only against the Premier XV aka Pumas.

I wouldn’t say overflowing really but steps in the right direction even with aspects of your play even in a losing game…
Come business start of Super rugby that will be the true measure.
how’s this… Wesley Wilkins scored 5 tries for Griquas in a warmup game against Free State!
@Jarson (AddicteD) (Comment 1) : Ag pleez, he looked so average for the Boks. Let’s see what a season of Super Rugby holds for him.
@robdylan (Comment 4) : Was that Griekwas A vs Freestate B? Wilkens must be stoked
And the Lions’ B side beating UJ (Univ of Joburg) 120 – 7.
@CapeShark (Comment 5) : I think he scored like 6 tries against us in the Currie Cup. But yeah, lets see
@Jarson (AddicteD) (Comment 7) : As either one of the coaches, you have to ask yourself: ‘What was the point of that?’
Okay I’ll give it a bash.
