After an thrilling humdinger exhausting day of  SA vs India game on the couch, another double header is facing us in the eyes on this Sunday, day 23 of  CWC 2011.

It’s game 30 first up: Canada vs New Zealand @ Wankhede stadium, Mumbai @ 06h00 SA time

This is the first of 3 games to be played on this ground. The next game is game 38 between NZ and Sri lanka, and then the final on 2nd of April. So we can not give any previous result in 2011 WC stats, but a one sider game is most probably on the table here.

And then it’s game 31: Australia vs Kenya @ M Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore @ 11h00 SA time

On this ground was the now famous tie game, yes the one and only India vs England. The other 2 games: England and Ireland met and Ireland chased down England’s score of 327 with 3 wickets and 5 ball to spare. Then it was India and Ireland matching up with India bowling the opposition out for 207 runs but took all of 46 overs and 5 wickets to get to a win.

All this said, it would be real shockers if any one of the 2 games played today end up in an minnow win.

Chat away, if you have enough energy left after yesterdays sporting festival.
