Yesterday we saw a much hyped game fizzle out to nothing when the West Indies didn’t pitch for their game against Pakistan, which was such a disappoinment as Quarter Final matches are what one looks forward to in a World Cup.

Today must be one of the biggest game of the tournament so far, and will no doubt spit out the favourite to take the Cup come 2 April. Australia lost their unbeaten record to Pakistan last week and have everything to play for as they try for their fourth consecutive World Cup trophy. On the other hand you have India who will be hoping to send off their little master, Sachin Tendulkar, with at least one World Cup winners medal as he will most certainly retire before the next one.

Join us here for what should be an excellent match.

  • Was not sure who to support here today, but think if India win and go through to the final with their massive home support, they will be the most difficult to beat for Proteas if we make it though to the final.

So for that alone. Go Aus. Never thought I would say that..hehehe.

We have to face India in the final. That will be damn tough with their massive support. 120 000 they get for a game.

Must say the atmosphere there with that huge support looks electric.

Also must admit, would love to see a India/Paki semi. But for Proteas chance, think we have a better chance of knocking the Aussie out.

Just watched a rerun of “Gandhi” which highlights just how much they don’t smaak one another… Was at the world 20-20 final in Joburg between them and can place hand on heart and say it was an AMAZING vibe. And having visited India I know that cricket is more important than religion to them. It’s all Indians talk about. Especially in Mumbai where Tendulkar is worshipped like a Hindu god!

  • India need 261 to win.

    Oz 260/6 rpo 5.22

India have top class batsmen they could get that. Pitch looks a bit slow but India know their home turf well. Oz need to bowl smart here.

Jeez, now not sure who should win. Think India with their massive support will be tough to beat, but once those Aussie get their noses in front, they like street fighters. They could win the whole damn thing.

We don’t have a explosive batsman coming in down the order like we had in him. So hope our top order get plenty runs tomorrow. Can’t take the kiwis for granted. They could beat any side on the day.

I agree with you we CAN NOT take the Kiwis lightly. Play it like its the final.
