What a month and a half it has been. We started off slowly with one sided games, we saw England somehow manage to draw with India, lose to Ireland and beat South Africa, and suddenly we are at the end of another Cricket World Cup.

Co-hosts India face off with co-hosts Sri-Lanka in a bid to take over the crown of World Champions from Australia. It is the end of an era for both teams as Muttiah Muralitharan and Sachin Tendulkar will both be playing their last World Cup games, and both will be trying to win that first (and only) World Cup winners medal.

It is going to be a wonderful occassion and rather tearful at the end as we greet some great players. Join us here for live updates from this momentus occasion.

Will confirm in a minute, but Awesome climb up the rankings in the last few rounds.
