In an unprecedented occurrence we have a Last Man Standing after only eight rounds of Super Rugby. I hope he is a betting man…
Due to the very early upset seeing the Highlanders putting one over the Hurricanes we lost 20 of our 97 entrants. The dust from this had hardly settled and the Brumbies lost to the Rebels in round 2 eliminating a further 43 players. It was all downhill from there for everyone except the winner of course.
Our Just Rugby Super Rugby Last Man Standing for 2011 is Mystic Shark. He commented last week that it was not luck that he was one of the two men left standing and it seems he was right.
