Go Pampas!!
@Jarson (AddicteD) (Comment 1) : That’s it! Pampas all the way.
Blue Bulls ended 4th on the log. The Pampas XV should win this comfortably.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 3) : Well I HOPE they DO!
very disappointed to see you guys cheering for the pampas
Thats the problem with bull supporters. When its the bulls playing they expect all to support them because they will support your team. But of all the bulls fans i know, none have shown support for my team?!
@bloubulblog (Comment 5) : Our Pleasure!
Vamos Pampas Vamos
Bulle
May the best team win.
@bloubulblog (Comment 5) : it’s a fairytail in the making. Sorry dude.
@bloubulblog (Comment 5) :
Nothing against the Bulls (the senior side is often great to watch), but this Pampas side deserve the Cup – such passion and great play.
They taught the Sharks XV a lesson last week.
Stuart Berry is a good ref – communicates well. Reminds me a bit of Kaplan.
@KSA Shark © (Comment 9) : horror if youre a bull
Scores guys????
@Big Fish (Comment 10) : speaking of refs..how often do these guys go further than vodacom cup level???
@shaniboi (Comment 13) : 3-0 pampas 20 min.
@shaniboi (Comment 13) :
Berry has down a few CC games, I know. Nothing higher yet, but still young.
Pampas 8-0 bulls. Try by #12
Its a friday night and I’m bored
Pampas would do well at super rugby. They should play Currie Cup next year and maybe super rugby in 2013
Marius Joubert is playing tonight after the VC final. Want to see if he is still in form.
@Mocho (Comment 18) : I won`t be able to watch that.
Would you give a report tomorrow morning?
@Original Pierre (Comment 19) : I will try hehe. I’m sure it won’t be very good though.
Omg the Bulls are such sly B#*!tards!!! They getting dominated in the scrums, so the force uncontested scrums with a few “injuries”.
@Mocho (Comment 20) : old stormers trick! Pampas 14-6 bulls
Honestly, before this Thursday’s Boots and All, I didn’t even know who the Pampas XI were. What a wonderful initiative by SARU to let them come and get some experience here. They should repeat it for the CC. Go Pampas!
Where do they play “home” games?
@klempie (Comment 23) : i heard they were based in Durban… Could be wrong tho
@klempie (Comment 23) : They play at Potch.
Could be potch
Just wondering… How many of you now supporting the Pampas against the Bulls, were criticising the fans with crusaders jersey’s at newlands last week?
extra time looms large!
BBB- Pampas deserves this – really!
Well deserved Pampas! Mega heart and unbeaten.
or not…
@Mocho (Comment 20) : I was saying exactly that to my hubby! LOL
@bloubulblog (Comment 27) : Its totally different circumstances. Its not like they playing our home team at our home ground .
Congratulations Pampas! They have really been great ambassador for their country and the rugby community there. Well done to the Blue Bulls too, not many teams could have lost four in a row and still make it to the final.
Congrats to the Pampas XV!
Thoroughly deserved win!
Hope they enjoyed their stay in South Africa!
PAMMMPAAAS, well done, it would have been an injustice if a team that causes uncontested scrums had won. Also great that the amateurs could pull off a win. Unbeaten Pampas…..well done.
@Mocho (Comment 20) : I remember last year there was a scandal in the NH about a team doc using fake blood to force blood injuries.
Pampas put their bodies on the line! They really wanted it.
Bad luck Bulls..
@Mocho (Comment 33) : not different, buddy. Can’t justify it like that.
Anyway, congrats to pampas. They had a great season and certainly showed us how rugby should be played. Their defence was superb, its great to see a side that consistently go into the tackle so low.
Sorry for your loss Bloubulblog..
Great comeback from a bad start to the season..
@bloubulblog (Comment 39) : Lol please tell me how ‘similar’ it is taking into account we Sharks supporters and have nothing to do with a team from Pretoria?
@Danman110 (Comment 37) : Yeah I remember, lol only the Poms could think of something like that. This was so blatant, the Bulls were going to get a hiding if the scrums were not uncontested.
Well done Pampas!! These guys would do well at Super Rugby o rate. They play such attractive rugby.
Ruan Pienaar’s Ulster are 11-0 behind just after half time. We might see how true those Stormers rumours are.
Congrats Pampas!! What a team!!
@Mocho (Comment 42) : It’s time to implement the 8 man bench like in the Varsity Cup it should stop this from happening.
We have to support Biarittz I guess. Will ensure MJ is with the Sharks quicker?
@war1 (Comment 44) : let’s see whether they can’t afford insurance
@rekinek (Comment 48) : 11 oints in european rugby – a lot
@Mocho (Comment 47) : which may notbe such a good thing
@rekinek (Comment 48) : They’ve got a billionaire backer, I’m sure they can.
@Mocho (Comment 41) : you’re supporting a foreign team against a local team. Aurely you can’t argue that if you do it in your home, instead of at the ground, it is OK?
Whether you attend the game with a jersey or not, it isn’t very patriotic.
What I’m saying is that if you, or anyone else, supported Pampas tonight, you can’t criticise the saders supporters at newlands.
@war1 (Comment 51) : pienaar penalty 3-11
it would b ghastly seeing pienaar playing for stormers – mostly because i think he would make an impact there methinks.
@bloubulblog (Comment 52) : Don’t take it personally. Many people don’t like the Bulls, mostly because they are so good, ‘Die hoogste bome vang die meeste wind’. It would probably be best to just leave this matter now.
leinster try -converted
@rekinek (Comment 53) : I think it will be beneficial to the Springboks, as it would if he came back home to Durban. It’s just really tough to see a player with whom we’ve developed an affection for as fans playing for an opposition team, especially one who would be first choice if he was still with the Sharks. Unfortunately if it happens, we can do nothing about it.
@war1 (Comment 56) : you’re right I just think that if he needs to come back it would be better if he join the sharks. we realy could use him.
BTW : looks like ulster lost 3 – 18
@Big Fish (Comment 10) : Mentored by Kaplan for quite a few Years.
Was reffing as a Std 8 already. was reffing senior games in Matric.
I like the bulls becuase they play good honest boring effective rugby . I supported pampas tonight becuase they where underdogs nothing wrong with that …
Bulls infact are my 2nd fav sa side ,well ill support cheetahs as my second side by defualt ,just feel sorry for them …
But bulls second (behind a ghostly cheetahs pity support)
@bloubulblog (Comment 27) : Good point.
I wasn’t one who criticised because i support England as Well
@rekinek (Comment 57) :
YIP!
Leinster 18 – 3 Ulster
FULL TIME
Now we will see if Ulster and the Stormers can come to an agreement.
Passing isn’t an option for Luaki!
@KSA Shark © (Comment 61) : you meany !!!
@rekinek (Comment 63) :
WHO?????
ME????????
ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@KSA Shark © (Comment 64) : so I thought
Clermont win 27-17. I think this means Jouba stays in France til after the final which is on the 4th of June.
Clermont wins and proceed to the semi’s. No MJ for the Sharks just yet.
@war1 (Comment 66) : After what final?
@Ben (Comment 68) : Ok, correction he could still be there for the final on the 4th of june.
@war1 (Comment 69) : What final are you talking about Warren?
Well done Pampas
congrats Pampas
Strange to see a non SA team win an SA competition. I have no problem with that, congratulations on winning with a grandslam.
