A Friday night at Loftus is not what most Bulls fans will want to hear, as they have a woeful record playing on Friday nights, and against a team like the Waratahs, one has to wonder how the team will face up to this myth.
The South African conference is going to see a few big matches over the next few weekends, with the Bulls having to face the two teams above them on the log after this match. The Waratahs themselves are by no means slouches, but the Bulls should have this game in the bag. It is the last two weekends that will have them more worried.
The Waratahs came to South Africa aiming to win at least one match, and with the loss to the Sharks behind them, they will be throwing everything at the Bulls tonight. They have Berrick Barnes back in the team after his “footballer’s headache” issue, and will improve the backline play of the men from Sydney.
