The South African U20 team kick off their IRB Junior World Championship campaign against Scotland tonight. Dawie Theron has named a strong team that, as mentioned, has three Sharks representing. We would like to wish the team all the best in their campaign.

The game kicks off at 20h00 and is shown on SuperSport 1.

SA U20 – 15 Ulrich Beyers, 14 Tshotsho Mbovane, 13 Paul Jordaan, 12 Francois Venter, 11 Wandile Mjekevu, 10 Johan Goosen, 9 Pieter Rademan, 8 Arno Botha (capt), 7 Siyamthanda Kolisi, 6 Francois Kleinhans, 5 Eben Etzebeth, 4 Jean Cook, 3 Nic Schonert, 2 Bongi Mbonambi, 1 Juan Schoeman.

Reserves: 16 Micheal van Vuuren, 17 John Roy Jenkinson, 18 Ruan Venter, 19 Cornell du Preez, 20 Lohan Jacobs, 21 John Welthagen, 22 Craig Barry.

  • Same problem again. Because the Boks are so physically big…their technique is lacking. It’s a schoolboy thing in SA…they try and use their size to bash over people rather than perfect the correct technique!
