The Baby Boks play their last pool game against England tonight in an attempt to secure a semi final spot in the IRB Junior Championships in Italy. Kick off is at 20h10 South African time and will be shown on SuperSport.

Coach Dawie Theron has made a few changes to the line up, with the potent Jaco Taute, flown in for the injured Craig Barry, starting at fullback. The other big change is that of Pieter Rademan coming back into the line up at scrumhalf for Lohan Jacobs.

The starting line up still does not contain a single Sharks player, with both Schonert and Jordaan warming the bench and Kleynhans not even getting a look in.

Baby Boks – Jaco Taute, Courtnall Skosan, Bradley Moolman, Francois Venter, Wandile Mjekevu, Johan Goosen, Pieter Rademan, Arno Botha (c), Siyamthanda Kolisi, Nizaam Carr, Eben Etzebeth, Ruan Venter, John Roy Jenkinson, Bongi Mbonambi, Juan Schoeman.

Reserves: Michael van Vuuren, Nic Schonert, Jean Cook, Cornell du Preez, Lohan Jacobs, John Welthagen, Paul Jordaan.

  • Crap Ruan Venter injured. I guess they’ll have to fly van der Sluys out. SA stuck in first gear. 8-0 still

  • They need to lose the ordinary looking Piet Radaman. Good move to sub off Kolisi. He was well off his best today.

  • Pity Nizaam wasn’t on the right wing. He justed showed how to pick the right line, stay on the feet and hold onto and recycle the ball in contact.maybe he could teach Skosan a thing or 2.
